OUR STORY

It all started when a group of Stanford GSB students from the Energy Club, Business & Environment Club, and joint MBA-MS in Environment and Resources (E-IPER) program asked the question, what does climate change mean for the future of business and the careers of tomorrow’s business leaders?

Sponsored by the Stanford GSB Business & Environment Club, the first GSB Climate, Business & Innovation conference was hosted in 2019.

Why host a climate conference at the GSB?

The GSB is a launchpad for leaders across industries. This summit meets a growing demand from students for deeper engagement with climate; not just as a specialization, but as a defining challenge and opportunity for modern business and societal leadership.

The GSB is uniquely positioned at the intersection of business, innovation, and climate. As the only professional school-led climate event at Stanford, this summit showcases the GSB as a hub for students preparing to lead the transition to a sustainable future.
